FAQ’s for Job Seekers
Absolutely nothing. You will never pay for any services provided by LEAD.
- Go to the Trade Network Application and thoroughly complete all sections of the application. IMPORTANT: Enter ALL your skills. We are able to consider you for more positions when we know ALL the skills you possess.
- Once you have completed the application, you will be contacted by a LEAD Project Coordinator who may set up an interview: either face to face in our office or via Skype|FaceTime|Zoom.
- You may then be offered employment by LEAD and asked to electronically complete onboarding documents (by computer, smartphone or tablet).
- When your documents have been completed, the next steps include LEAD’s standard background check and reference checks.
Our customers vary by region. LEAD serves the core industries of Industrial, Construction, Renewable Energy, and Marine/Shipbuilding. Within those core industries and related segments, LEAD provides any and all skilled and semi-skilled trades.
You are paid weekly for the prior week worked. LEAD disburses your pay by direct deposit to either your bank OR our PayCard which may be used as an ATM/Debit card.
LEAD offers referral bonuses as well as eligibility for health benefits to purchase: Medical, Dental, Vision, Term Life and Short-Term Disability. There is also eligibility to participate in LEAD’s 401k program, Paid Sick Leave/Paid Time Off.
Your Project Coordinator will gladly discuss these benefits in more detail, as well as other benefits that may be available in your area.
This will vary by company. Usually, it is calculated based on the number of hours worked. The required hours vary by customer. The important thing to remember is that each company has many factors to consider prior to being able to hire someone, i.e., budget constraints, business projections, and most importantly, individual performance!
