Customer Service Clerk (El Cajon, CA)

Full Time – $18.00 to $20.00/hr
Monday–Friday 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., overtime and Saturday work are expected as the workload dictates.

We are looking for a responsible customer service representative for a large powder coating company in El Cajon. This position will call for someone who can work the front shop desk, possibly help in the warehouse, pull will call orders, and fill in as needed. 

Responsibilities: 
  • The customer service representative position has the responsibility of assisting SDPPC in a variety of functions. Including but not limited to:
  • Primary responsibility with assisting customers in person, via phone call, and email correspondence
  • Multi-tasking is key in this role, it is not solely a “desk job” we are outdoors assisting customers, opening pallets, measuring items, providing pricing, and taking photos throughout the day.
  • General housekeeping as required
 
Requirements:  
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to perform basic math skills
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English (Spanish is a plus)
  • Must have experience in Microsoft outlook, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint, Word (experience in Quickbooks is a plus)
  • Ability to kneel, crouch, crawl, stoop, and lift up to 35pds
  • Must be able to work in outside weather conditions (hot, cold, wet and/ or humid conditions)
