Site Superintendent

Role Summary: A Site Superintendent leads the day-to-day operations on a construction site, ensuring that work is executed on schedule, safely, and in accordance with plans and specifications.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to coordinate multiple trades.
  • Proven ability to interpret project drawings, schedules and work orders.
  • Strong problem-solving, organization, and time management.

  • Minimum of 5 + years of superintendent experience on commercial or industrial builds.
  • Track record of meeting deadlines, managing subcontractors, and keeping jobsite standards high.
  • Understanding of OSHA/safety requirements and building codes.

  • Oversee site activities daily: coordinate teams, monitor progress, maintain quality and safety.
  • Review blueprints, material orders, change-orders, and work with project managers.
  • Manage subcontractor performance and schedule adherence; report status to leadership; ensure site is clean and compliant.

Estimator (Construction)

Role Summary: The Estimator prepares project cost estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and subcontractor bids—helping contractors win jobs while maintaining profitability.

  • Sharp analytical skills: reading plans, performing take-offs, calculating material/labor costs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication: writing reports, negotiating with subs, presenting to PMs.
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working under deadline pressure.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a construction estimating role for commercial projects.
  • Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., BlueBeam, PlanSwift) and standard cost databases.
  • Coursework or certification in construction management or estimating preferred.

  • Review incoming project specs and drawings; perform quantity take-offs and cost modeling.
  • Prepare bid packages, evaluate subcontractor bids, submit estimate to leadership on time.
  • Provide supporting documentation, work closely with operations to align budget versus execution.

Heavy Equipment Operator (Construction)

Role Summary: Heavy Equipment Operators handle and maneuver large construction equipment—backhoes, excavators, bulldozers, loaders—to help build, move, and prepare sites for contractors.

  • Strong coordination and spatial awareness; comfortable operating large earth-moving equipment.
  • Good mechanical aptitude: able to inspect equipment, recognize minor maintenance issues, follow safety checks.
  • Adaptable and able to work outdoors, perhaps under changing weather or site conditions.

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience operating heavy equipment on construction sites (commercial or civil).
  • Familiarity with site hazards, load handling, and rigging basics.
  • Valid driver’s license; equipment certifications preferred.

  • Transport and position heavy equipment; carry out excavation, loading/unloading, grading, site prep.
  • Conduct pre- and post-use inspections, report problems; follow daily maintenance logs.
  • Work with site supervisor to ensure tasks align with project schedule and safety protocols.

Carpenter / Formwork Carpenter

Role Summary: Carpenters are critical in constructing the structural and finishing elements of a build—framing, formwork, trim, install work. In commercial builds, formwork carpenters are especially in demand for concrete structure work.

  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, reading blueprints, measuring accurately.
  • Solid understanding of building materials, carpentry techniques, framing, and finishing.
  • Good communication; able to collaborate with other trades and follow directions precisely.

  • At least 3 years of commercial or heavy residential carpentry (or formwork) experience.
  • Must be able to read drawings and adapt to evolving site conditions.
  • Experience with concrete formwork, rebar layout, and finishing is a plus.

  • Frame walls, install structural components, assemble and install formwork, pour and finish concrete as required.
  • Follow safety guidelines, maintain clean workspace, work closely with site leadership and other trades.
  • Complete tasks on schedule and report to supervisors.

Project Engineer (Construction)

Role Summary: The Project Engineer supports project managers by overseeing technical, administrative, and coordination tasks—helping keep commercial/industrial builds on track and within budget.

  • Excellent technical aptitude: read drawings, understand specifications, coordinate subs, manage documentation.
  • Strong communication (verbal & written), problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organization.
  • Comfortable using project management software and scheduling tools.

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-4 years of construction project experience (commercial/industrial preferred).
  • Experience coordinating field operations, ensuring quality, tracking budgets/schedules.

  • Assist PM in developing schedules, cost tracking, shop drawing review, RFI responses.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and site team to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
  • Monitor field progress, collect data, update leadership and help mitigate delays.

Electrician (Commercial / Industrial)

Role Summary: Electricians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and construction environments. They ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.

  • Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuits, and wiring methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Skilled with hand and power tools specific to electrical work.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
  • Commitment to safety and awareness of OSHA electrical standards.

  • 3–5 years of experience as a journeyman or apprentice electrician in construction or industrial settings.
  • Valid state or local electrician license preferred (Journeyman or Master).
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying conditions (indoor/outdoor, heights, confined spaces).
  • Familiarity with conduit bending, panel installation, and system testing.

  • Install and connect wiring, fixtures, outlets, and electrical panels for new builds or renovations.
  • Inspect systems, diagnose issues, and perform repairs on-site.
  • Test continuity of circuits to ensure system compatibility and safety.
  • Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to keep work on schedule.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all electrical work performed.

Plumber / Pipefitter

Role Summary: Plumbers and Pipefitters play a vital role in the construction process by installing and maintaining piping systems that transport water, gas, and waste. These professionals ensure that all systems function efficiently, safely, and comply with building codes.

  • Proficiency in installing and repairing piping, fixtures, valves, and pumps.
  • Knowledge of pipe threading, soldering, brazing, and welding techniques.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret blueprints and plumbing schematics.

Welder (Structural / Pipe)

Role Summary: Welders join and repair metal parts, structural frameworks, and piping systems essential to construction projects. They work from blueprints and drawings, using multiple welding processes to create strong, precise, and durable welds.

  • Skilled in MIG, TIG, flux-core, and stick welding techniques.
  • Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and steady attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of metal preparation, cutting, grinding, and fitting.
  • Familiar with inspection requirements and able to meet quality standards.

  • 2–5 years of experience welding on construction or fabrication sites.
  • AWS certification or other recognized welding credentials preferred.
  • Proficiency in welding carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum materials.
  • Understanding of jobsite safety, confined space work, and PPE requirements.

  • Weld and assemble structural beams, supports, or pipe systems per specifications.
  • Inspect welds to ensure compliance with standards and drawings.
  • Operate cutting torches, grinders, and other tools to fit or prepare joints.
  • Collaborate with fitters, fabricators, and supervisors to maintain production goals.
  • Keep work areas organized and follow all site safety procedures.

Concrete Finisher / Cement Mason

Role Summary: Concrete Finishers are responsible for placing, smoothing, and finishing concrete surfaces for foundations, slabs, sidewalks, and other structures. They play a crucial role in ensuring that finished surfaces meet precise specifications and aesthetic standards.

  • Proficient in using trowels, screeds, floats, and finishing tools.
  • Strong understanding of concrete mix design, curing methods, and finishing techniques.
  • Ability to recognize and correct surface imperfections.
  • Physically fit for repetitive lifting, bending, and working in outdoor conditions.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to jobsite safety.

  • Minimum of 3 years of concrete finishing experience in commercial or industrial construction.
  • Knowledge of setting forms, pouring concrete, and applying sealants or decorative finishes.
  • Experience with power tools such as bull floats and power trowels.
  • Understanding of grade and slope requirements for water runoff.

  • Set and align forms for slabs, curbs, or walls based on project drawings.

Project Manager (Construction)

Acting as the bridge between clients, field teams, and leadership, Project Managers play a key role in the success of every build.

General Laborer / Construction Helper

Role Summary: General Laborers and Construction Helpers support skilled trades and site crews by performing essential physical tasks that keep projects running smoothly.   • Strong work ethic and reliability; able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
