There are 10.7 million job openings in the United States, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). This is a decrease in available jobs from the previous BLS quarterly report. “Job availability remains steady in most industries,” says Carrie Berry, LEAD Professional Managing Partner-National Sales Manager. The largest decrease in openings was in retail and wholesale trade and in state and local government education.
