Optimism: Demand for Construction

“Contractors are very optimistic about demand for construction” through the remainder of 2020 and beyond.

“At the same time, many construction executives are troubled by labor shortages and the impacts those shortages are having on operations, training and safety programs, and bottom lines.” – Stephen E. Sandherr, AGC of America, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

LEAD supports growth of vocational arts through several mediums including involvement in organizations which allow us to offer apprenticeship guidance and career trajectory launches.

Apprenticeship programs with selected clients will offer opportunities for skilled trade development.

Becoming stewards of growth of the skilled trades is detrimental to our nation.  Being passionate about our industry propels our motivation to become increasingly involved in “giving back”.

Our representatives in the field are always on the lookout for opportunities to become involved in volunteer programs and other activity which, over time, will have a positive impact on the pool of skilled trades available to do the work that keeps our country running.

However, the shortage increases every day.

True improvement will require the influence of our entire industry and a comprehensive effort toward strengthening the reputation and perception of the vocational arts.

Ready. Set. GO!
