Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic/High Level Helper

Job Description:
LEAD Staffing is currently seeking experienced sheet metal mechanic for a project in Sarasota. ENGLISH speaking SMM or high level helper to install metal duct work up in wood rafters (very tight fit and knowledge needed). Mechanics and helper will work together to install the duct work.
 
Requirements:
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for sheet metal duct work.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test onsite before orientation.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work in demanding environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Hanging/Installing/Fabricating Sheet Metal Duct.
  • Installation of Straps/hangers.
  • hanging duct work.
  • VAV’s, curbs, etc.
  • Collaborate with team members and other construction professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
