Position Title: Inventory Quality Specialist/Product Validation Technician
Position Type: 3 to 6+ months, could turn into a direct hire position.
Salary Range: $20/hour
Shift: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Location: Batavia, OH 45103
 

Position Summary:
This position focuses on quality assurance and inventory management to support the efficient and timely execution of project deliverables. The Inventory Quality Specialist will be responsible for inspecting products for defects, maintaining inventory accuracy, and preparing items for shipment, all while adhering to strict company protocols. The role is vital to ensuring projects run smoothly, reducing delays, and maintaining operational consistency.
 

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Move items from storage to inspection areas according to first-in-first-out (FIFO) methodology or priority instructions from managers.
  • Perform thorough inspections of items for defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Record inspection results and any nonconformities in the digital database system.
  • Manage nonconforming products by placing them in designated areas and documenting their condition.
  • Prepare inspected products for final shipping and label/tag products as required.
  • Assist in maintaining physical inventory and performing regular counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the team on warehouse activities, including resolving nonconformance issues, supporting the receipt or shipment of goods, and handling other general warehouse tasks as necessary.
 

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED), or 1-3 years of relevant experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to learn company-specific programs.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
  • Ability to handle physical demands, including standing for extended periods and lifting/moving items up to 50 lbs (with assistance as needed).
  • Preferred: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or specifications.
