Summary:
We are currently looking for a Facilities Manager to work for an industry leading industrial manufacturer in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of both the building and manufacturing floor, including maintenance and cleanliness. This is a DIRECT HIRE role that is available immediately.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Manage all aspects of maintenance for the facility, including building and manufacturing machinery
  • Direct a small team of technicians and custodial staff to ensure ongoing maintenance
  • Adhere to facilities budgets and timeframes
  • Initiate and manage vendor relationships, including selection of supplier and negotiation of price
  • Run routine maintenance inspections / perform preventative maintenance
  • Provide support to installation and maintenance activities as needed
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in facilities management, to include equipment maintenance
  • HS Diploma or GED required, Certified Facility Manager credential or equivalent highly preferred
  • Knowledge of building systems including electrical, plumbing and HVAC
  • Facilities and staff management experience highly desired
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, including soliciting quotes and choosing suppliers
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial principles
