Job Title: Key Account Manager – HVAC&R
Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Location: Remote in Texas or Florida
 
Summary:
LEAD Technical is currently looking for a Key Account Manager for our client, an international manufacturer of industrial metal-based products. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and closing sales opportunities to large HVAC&R customers within a defined geographical region, in addition to managing and growing existing relationships. This is a DIRECT HIRE role that is available immediately. 
 
PLEASE NOTE: Must be based out of FLORIDA or TEXAS
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Identify and develop relationships with customers within the HVAC&R industry.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned Key Accounts, including new opportunities and changing customer requirements.
  • Provide key customer and industry information to internal staff, including new opportunities for sales or products, projections, market challenges and other business intelligence. 
  • Partner with potential clients to help design and develop product specifications to secure opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships at multiple decision-making levels within prospects and accounts
  • Preparepresent and negotiate proposals with customers, ensuring a full understanding of details from design to delivery
  • Prepare management reports outlining sales activities, including quotes, new business, forecasting, etc.
  • Up to 75% Travel
 
Qualifications:  
  • 10+ years of experience in Account Management/Business Development within the HVAC&R market at the OEM Tier level.
  • BA/BS Degree in Engineering.
  • Proven experience in developing and presenting solutions to both business and technical teams.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience in complex contract negotiations.
  • Working business and technical knowledge of major HVAC manufacturers.
  • Ability to develop successful partnerships with internal and external team members.
  • Polished, strong presentation skills.
