LEAD Technical is on the lookout for a skilled Recruiting and Training Specialist to bolster our client's human resources team located in Smithville, TN. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in recruiting top talent to fill salaried positions across three company locations while also taking charge of the comprehensive training program for all company associates.
 
Recruiting Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with department hiring managers to facilitate ongoing recruitment for salaried employees.
  2. Generate and maintain records of approved position requisitions as directed by management.
  3. Administer job boards and oversee the publication of both internal and external job listings.
  4. Identify and assess candidates for existing job vacancies through sourcing and initial screening.
  5. Assist hiring managers in organizing and conducting interviews.
  6. Play a key role in the onboarding process for newly hired associates.
 
Training Responsibilities
  1. Strategically design and execute skills-focused training programs for diverse roles across the organization.
  2. Efficiently oversee the training budget to ensure the effective delivery of essential training to company personnel.
  3. Conduct in-depth research on mandatory regulatory training requirements and seamlessly integrate them into the comprehensive training program.
  4. Provide assistance to location-specific trainers in the facilitation of ongoing training sessions, ensuring strict adherence to compliance standards.
  5. Collaborate in the coordination of employee performance reviews.
 
Recruiting and Training Specialist Requirements:
  1. BA in Human Resources, Learning Management, Instruction Design or similar field highly preferred.  OR possess 5 years of experience in recruitment and/or training program support.
  2. 1 year of recruiting experience.  Salary/Exempt (Management, Engineering) level experience preferred.
  3. Strong Communication skills – both written and verbal.
