- Machine Setup:
- Prepare and set up CNC machines, including loading raw materials and securing workpieces.
- Install and align tooling, fixtures, and workholding devices.
- Programming:
- Create or modify CNC programs using computer software or input codes to specify machining processes.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Machine Operation:
- Operate CNC machines to perform milling, turning, grinding, or other machining operations.
- Monitor machine performance, making adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and tolerances.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to correct deviations.
- Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
